Part of My Story

A Creative

I was recently featured in Omaha Magazine and over time I've had time to reflect what it all really means to me and my journey as a "creative." Although some know me for being a photographer, I'm here to tell you I am far more than that. Photography is simply a tool to deliver content for a multitude of reasons. Ultimately I create! I'm more in love with the production side of creating. Allow me to put this in perspective for some... look around, grab a phone, turn on your tv, look at billboards.. this is content. This content was simply thin air before it was a piece to attempt to sway you in a direction. Everything you see is content trying to lure you in to win you over or to simply notify you. I don't have the number but for the sake of it, 90% of it was developed in a room with a team of creatives. Marketing, creative direction, branding, video, graphic design, and photography all may have played their role. A food chain if you will, that is the process I'm in love with and photography just so happened to open my eye to this process and being a soon to be graduate at UNO from the graphic design program has furthered this reality.

It was a complete honor to be featured. From grabbing a camera as an escape from life to freelancing, to being hired to by Kreative Element to showcase my ability on a broader scale has all been a journey and a blessing. It's all a true testament to putting your best foot forward in anything you do. I've been hit with a huge dose of this and I'll end it here, you never know who's watching.

I'm eager to see where life takes me and I'm thankful.
